2017 has already been full and we’d love to share a small snapshot of life with you so you can
rejoice, praise and pray with us in this journey.
Loving God. Loving youth.
We have had a busy few months. From teaching at Ukarumpa International Secondary School, to serving as youth sponsors, to volunteering at a local house for kids and continuing to help our kids as they transition to this new country, it has been busy!
We are very thankful for the ways we see God working, taking care of us and bringing the right ministries across our paths at the right times.
We look forward to sharing some of these ministries with you here!

Sponsoring a Grade 11 Fundraising Dinner
We love youth and we love food so this was a great ministry to be a part of. We helped organize and run a three-course Indian Dinner that served 150+ members of the missions community here at Ukarumpa. It was a great time of building relationships with the youth!
Village Church Visit with the Youth
-earlier in January I was privileged to accompany the youth to a local village church. It was a joy to worship alongside our Papua New Guinean brothers and sisters and both to bring encouragement and be encouraged!
Jacob with his Kindergarten buddies
Jacob has been attending Kindergarten since we arrived in Ukarumpa but the class moves from 1/2 day to full day after the March break. Please pray for endurance for Jacob with this switch!
We have loved serving together as a family at Mambu Haus on Saturday afternoons. Please pray for this ministry. Please pray for new materials (crafts, games, colouring books, puzzles) for the kids to play with as these might be the only toys they play with all week.
